Port of Spain, April 23, 2024. This afternoon, new health professionals arrived in the city of Port of Spain. They were received by the designated ambassador in the country, Gustavo Veliz; the head of the Medical Brigade in Trinidad and Tobago, Dr. Orlando Díaz, the commercial counselor of the Cuban Embassy, Julio Cabada and directors of the country's Ministry of Public Health.
Port of Spain, April 23, 2024. The Spanish Language Day was celebrated this morning at the University of the West Indies (UWI) in Trinidad and Tobago. The activity was organized by the Department of Languages and Modern Linguistics of the institution and was sponsored by the Spanish-speaking Embassies accredited in the country. There were several speakers who paid tribute to Miguel de Cervantes with the reading of his masterpiece "Don Quixote de la Mancha", officials and Ambassadors of the Diplomatic Corps, as well as students and professors of the University.
