The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba reiterates its resolute and unwavering adherence to the "one China" principle and recognizes Taiwan as an inalienable part of China's territory, in light of the attempts by secessionist forces and external actors to capitalize on this issue to undermine the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the People's Republic of China, interfere in its internal affairs, and undermine regional and international peace and security.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs reiterates its deep concern at the continuing escalation of violence by Israel in the illegally occupied Palestinian territories, in flagrant violation of the Charter of the United Nations and international law, including numerous UN resolutions.

The National Library of Trinidad and Tobago donates books to the "José Martí" National Library.

Port of Spain, December 8, 2023. The National Library of Trinidad and Tobago (NALIS) today made a donation of books to the "Jose Martí" National Library, as part of the cultural exchange actions after the signing last July of a Memorandum of Understanding between both entities.

The Ambassador of Cuba in Trinidad and Tobago, Tania Diego Olite, received the books from Michelle Garcia de Armesto, Acting Director of the Heritage Library Division, and Avolon Thomas, Director of Human Resources of the entity and in charge of cultural exchange programs.

The National Scientific Day of the Cuban Medical Brigade in Trinidad and Tobago concluded.

The Cuban Medical Brigade together with the diplomatic mission in Trinidad and Tobago closed the 18th National Scientific Day yesterday, December 3, an event that coincided with Latin American Medicine Day, a date of great importance historical, supportive and humanist for our country.

Tribute to Fidel is paid from Trinidad and Tobago.

The Solidarity movement "Trinidad and Tobago Friends of Cuba" and leaders of political and union forces, together with the collective of the Cuban diplomatic mission and the collaborators of the Cuban Medical Brigade (BMC) met yesterday December 1 to pay tribute to the Commander in Chief on the 7th anniversary of his physical disappearance.
