Caribbean Leaders Stand Firm Against U.S. Visa Threats Over Cuban Medical Program

MONTEGO BAY, Jamaica, March 11, 2025 - In a defiant stance that echoes the region's historical struggles for sovereignty, Caribbean leaders are pushing back against U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio's threats to revoke visas from officials who support Cuba's medical missions program, with several prime ministers declaring they would rather forfeit their access to American soil than compromise healthcare for their citizens.

Ambassador represents Cuba in the first General Assembly of International Organization for Marine Aids to Navigation (IALA)

Singapore, February 20th, 2025. The Ambassador of Cuba in Singapore, H.E. Lisbet Quesada Luna, participated in the strategical first General Assembly of International Organization for Marine Aids to Navigation (IALA). Cuba has been a member of @IALAISM since 1968 and has incorporated its recommendations, guidelines, and standards of the Aids to Maritime Navigation service.
 

Prime Minister of Singapore receives the Cuban Minister of Foreign Affairs

Singapore, February 17, 2025.- The Hon. Mr. Lawrence Wong, Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of Singapore, received Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, who is on an official visit to that country.

The Cuban Foreign Minister congratulated the people of Singapore on the 60th Anniversary of its independence, while conveying the greetings of President Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez to the Prime Minister and President Tharman Shanmugaratnam.
