Solidarity and love from Singapore trough Culture.

Ambassador of Cuba in Singapore, Lisbet Quesada Luna, joined today the Afro Cuban Domingos event organized from Timba Tropical team, with the participation of singaporeans, foreigners and cubans.

It was a great cuban culture events that convined the energy and love for Cuban culture with the sincere solidarity with Cuba.

On behalf of the Cuban people, Ambassador expressed the gratitude for the support of the "Medicines for Cuba" initiative, launched by the Timba Tropical group for the first time in Singapore, to be donated to hospitals in Cuba.

Cuba is launched as an individual tourist destination for the first time in Singapore.

Saturday, January 17, 2026. As part of the Spring Fair hosted by the prominent Singaporean travel agency EU Holidays, Ambassador Lisbet Quesada Luna was the special guest at the Cuba Destination Forum. This forum, launched by the renowned Southeast Asian travel agency, marks the first time our beautiful island has been featured as a standalone destination.

Honor and glory to our Martyrs illegally murdered in Venezuela by the US government!

Victims of a new criminal act of aggression and state terrorism, perpetrated against the sister Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela by the United States, 32 Cubans lost their lives in combat actions and after fierce resistance, who were carrying out missions representing the Revolutionary Armed Forces and the Ministry of the Interior, at the request of counterpart bodies of the South American country.

Cuban Son practice has been declared Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity

Singapore, December 31, 2025. The practice of the Cuban Son was included on December 10th in the representative list of UNESCO's Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, a recognition of this expression of the culture and identity of the Cuban people.

With this decision, notified at the 20th session of the Intergovernmental Committee for the Safeguarding of UNESCO's Intangible Heritage, in New Delhi, the commitment of the Cuban Government to the protection of the traditions that represent the roots of the Caribbean nation is also highlighted.

Cuba will host International Anti-Racist Conference in 2026

Havana, December 29, 2025. The Ministry of Culture and the National Program against Racism and Discrimination convened this Sunday the International Conference on Anti-Racist Thoughts and Actions, which will be held in October 2026. The event will bring together professionals from the sciences, arts and politics; to governments, social movements and non-governmental organizations in Havana and the province of Artemisa, from the 11th to the 13th of that month.
