Singapore, February 12, 2025
The Cuban ambassador in Singapore, Lisbet Quesada Luna, participated in the visit of the GRULAC Ambassadors in Singapore, to the Yishun South district, at the invitation of the Member of Parliament, Carrie Tan.
The tour of the district was followed by participation in the community's Chinese New Year celebration.
Havana, February 12, 2025.- The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla, begins an official visit to Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam and Laos, which will take place from February 12 to 21.
During his stay, the Cuban Foreign Minister will hold official conversations with senior officials from those countries, as part of the program of activities.
Declaration of the Revolutionary Government
US President Donald Trump attacks Cuba from day one and without any pretext. The decision to re-establish the strict economic war measures against Cuba, which his predecessor eliminated only days before, is a demonstration of the aggressiveness of US imperialism against the sovereignty, peace and well-being of the Cuban population. Among them is the inclusion of our country, once again, in the arbitrary list of States that supposedly sponsor terrorism, a designation that shows absolute disregard for the truth.
As part of the close and fluid relations with the Vatican, the Government of Cuba has remained in touch with Pope Francis and his representatives and, as has occurred in the past, has kept His Holiness informed about the processes of review of the convictions and the release on imprisoned person, a practice that is common in our judicial system and has characterized the humanitarian record of the Revolution.
On January 14, 2025, the government of the United States announced the following decisions:
1. Remove Cuba from the State Department list of countries that allegedly sponsor terrorism;
2. Make use of the presidential faculty to prevent US courts from taking action with regards to lawsuits that might be filed by virtue of Title III of the Helms-Burton Act; and
