Barbados calls for Cuba to be removed from the List of Terrorist Sponsoring Countries

Barbados welcomes the news that the Government of the United States of America (USA) has removed the Republic of Cuba from the USA’s list of countries that are “not cooperating fully” in the USA’s fight against terrorism.

Barbados notes, however, that the Republic of Cuba remains on the US State Department’s list of countries that have been deemed by the USA to be state sponsors of terrorism.

Barbados notes that the Republic of Cuba remains unjustly on the U.S. State Department's list of countries that have been deemed state sponsors of terrorism. It reiterates that there was absolutely no justification for Cuba to be included on that list in January 2021. Likewise, no such justification exists today.

The people and Government of Cuba are grateful for the solidarity and commitment to justice demonstrated by Barbados.

Once again, Barbados calls for an end to the unjustified inclusion of #Cuba on the list of States that allegedly sponsor terrorism and denounces the unilateral U.S. blockade policy, which causes severe  damage to the Cuban people.

Cuban delegation from MINED conducted a diagnostic study on the teaching of Spanish language in Barbados.

The Cuban delegation composed of two MINED officials carried out a series of teaching-methodological activities to conduct a diagnostic study on the teaching of the Spanish language in Barbados, working together with officials of the Ministry of Education of Barbados and visited classes of Cuban and Barbadian teachers who teach Spanish language courses in primary and secondary education in Barbados.
