The Cuban delegation from the Ministry of Construction of Cuba concluded its working visit to Barbados.

The Cuban delegation made up of officials from UNECA and the Cuban Ministry of Construction concluded its working visit to Barbados on August 17. After having carried out a broad program of activities, which included meetings with Cuban workers hired in Barbados, as well as exchanges with executives of the construction companies PRECONCO and Co. Williams Construction Limited, with the latter the possibility of expanding the hiring of workers and engineers of the sector was discussed, for which a contract was signed with said company.

On August 9, a delegation of officials working in the construction sector in Cuba arrived in Barbados for a working visit with Cuban workers and engineers hired in Barbados, as well as to sign some collaboration agreements with several of the construction companies of this country, which are currently employers of our workers. 

Cubans in Barbados Celebrate July 26th

Nationals residing in Barbados, Barbadians who studied in Cuba, Barbadian guests and members of the State Mission recalled yesterday, July 28, at the headquarters of the Cuban Embassy in Barbados, the historic feat of July 26, 1953, when a group of young rebels led by our Commander in Chief, Fidel Castro Ruz, staged the assaults on the Moncada Barracks and the Carlos Manuel de Céspedes Barracks.
