We reaffirm our willingness to continue cooperating systematically and constructively with the Working Group on Arbitrary Detention, in line with Cuba’s firm commitment to the promotion and protection of all human rights for all people, without discrimination.
Cuba will oppose any future attempt to adopt the UPR report on Nicaragua without having first received the Addendum and the due response from the State concerned.
Only the States concerned are in a position to identify their needs and request the cooperation and technical assistance they deem appropriate to address their challenges, commensurate with their national circumstances.

He called for placing development at the center of the debates and emphasized that Special and Differential Treatment is a legitimate, non-negotiable right of developing nations.
Cuba supports the renewal for 3 additional years of the mandate of the Special Rapporteur on the right to safe drinking water and sanitation, which would allow for the continuity of the work carried out on an issue of crucial importance for all countries.
