During the cordial meeting, the Cuban diplomat congratulated Ms. Young on her appointment to the leadership of an institution that plays a key role in the country's economic development and conveyed his best wishes for success in her new responsibilities.
Lebanon’s Popular Democratic Party Reaffirms Full Support for Cuba
The Popular Democratic Party of Lebanon reaffirmed its support for the Cuban people on Tuesday in a statement issued by the political organization.
“We, in the Popular Democratic Party of Lebanon, declare our full support for the Cuban Revolution, which represents a model opposed to the brutal capitalist system,” the statement read.

The event “Why Do We Defend Raúl?” was held at the Nâzım Hikmet Cultural Center in Ankara, organized by the Cuba-Türkiye Friendship Association on the occasion of the 95th birthday of the leader of the Cuban Revolution, Army General Raúl Castro Ruz, and to denounce the recent accusations made against him by the United States government.
