Australia Launches Fifth Edition of “From Australia to Cuba with Love 2026” Campaign

Canberra, June 10, 2026. The Australian solidarity community is preparing for the launch, on June 13, 2026, of the fifth edition of the “From Australia to Cuba with Love” campaign, an initiative that since 2022 has mobilized hundreds of friends of Cuba across the country. This project, driven by solidarity organizations, unions, community groups, and activists, combines sporting, cultural, and social activities with the aim of raising funds and strengthening solidarity with the Cuban people.

Cuban Ambassador Attends Premiere of Vietnamese Film

Islamabad, 8 June 2026. During the second edition of the Francophone film schedule in this capital, the Cuban Ambassador, Damián Cordero, attended the premiere of the Vietnamese film “Peach Blossom, Pho and Piano”, at the invitation of the Embassy of that sister Asian nation. The film depicts the heroic resistance of the Vietnamese people in Hanoi during the French invasion in 1946. History demonstrates, repeatedly, that when a people defend their homeland, no invading force can defeat them.

Renowned journalist Ansar Mahmood Bhatti visits the Cuban Ambassador

Islamabad, 8 June 2026. A media expert, Ansar Mahmood Bhatti serves as Editor-in-Chief of the Daily Islamabad Post newspaper, Centreline magazine and the Diplomatic News Agency (DNA) and, despite his responsibilities, found time for a cordial visit to the Cuban Ambassador, Damián Cordero Torres.
