How are the country’s strategic sectors advancing?

As part of his agenda earlier this week, the President of Cuba’s Councils of State and Ministers reviewed progress being made on agricultural, energy, and tourism plans, of key importance to the country’s development.
Doctor Rosalba Roque González, Deputy Director of the National Center for Minimum Access Surgery of the Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP by its Spanish acronym) will visit the Austrian capital on the occasion of her participation in the 16th World Congress of the International Society for Diseases of the Esophagus which will be held from 16 to 19 September, 2018 at the headquarters of the prestigious University of Vienna.
WHEREAS the rapprochement that has been developed between the Cuban Administration and the Obama Administration of the USA has come to an end
AND WHEREAS the current authorities in the USA have renewed the unilateral sanctions on Cuba
AND WHEREAS this constitutes a point of friction within the region and with potential for increased conflict and disharmony within the region
