PM Dean Barrow meets with Cuba’s President

Belize, September 12, 2018. By BBN Staff: The President of Cuba, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez, accompanied by Cuba’s First Lady, Lis Cuesta, and Cuba’s Foreign Minister, Bruno Rodríguez Parilla, met with Prime Minister Dean Barrow, his wife, Kim Simplis Barrow, and Ambassador of Belize H.E. Annie Burns, in a frank and friendly exchange on areas of common interest.

The group discussed challenges, achievements and cooperation between the two countries.

Cuban Ambassador to Canada meets with ICAO Representatives in Montreal

Montreal, September 4 – On Tuesday morning, Cuban Ambassador to Canada, H.E. Mrs. Josefina Vidal Ferreiro, payed a work visit to the President of the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Council, Dr. Olumuyiwa Benard Aliu, and Secretary General of  ICAO, Dr. Fang Liu, at ICAO Headquarters in Montreal.

Ambassador of Cuba visits Iran's Ministry of Petroleum

Tehran September 11, 2018. The Ambassador of Cuba in the Islamic Republic of Iran made a visit to the Ministry of Petroleum of the Persian nation, where he was received by the Director General for Europe, America and the neighboring countries of the Caspian Sea, Dr. Hossein Esmaeili and other officials of that ministry. In an atmosphere of mutual camaraderie as it characterizes the excellent bilateral relations between both countries, several topics and projects of common interest were exchanged, in order to strengthen the economic-commercial links of our nations.

Ambassador condemns the US blockade of Cuba in Harare

The Ambassador of Cuba in Zimbabwe, Carmelina Ramirez, gave a press conference on September 9 on the Draft Resolution against the Blockade that is presented every year in the General Assembly of the United Nations. In this conference the Ambassador addressed the main media of Zimbabwe explaining the evils caused by this inhuman measure to the people of Cuba, and its extraterritorial nature that continues to affect companies and people all over the world, even in this southern country from Africa.
