NASSAU, November 18th, 2017.-The Ambassador of Cuba to The Bahamas, Ismara Vargas Walter, recently held a meeting with the Minister of Tourism and Aviation of The Bahamas, Honorable Dionisio James D'Aguilar.
In the exchange, both parties reviewed issues of common interest. They also discussed about the good level of the relations between Cuba and The Bahamas.
The Ambassador of Cuba, Pedro Luis Despaigne González saw off the Minister for Youth and Sports and member of the Parliament of Ghana, Mr. Isaac Kwame Asiamah, in his travel to Cuba.
The Minister, as the head of a delegation of four members, will participate in Cuba in the 7th International Convention of Physical Activity and Sport (AFIDE 2017), after invitation received from the President of the National Institute of Sports, Physical Education and Recreation of Cuba (INDER, acronym in Spanish) Dr. Antonio E. Becalli.
Kuala Lumpur, November 10th - In an interview granted to Dato Lee Yew Meng, executive director of Genovasi, the company that owns the Malay Mail newspaper, the Cuban ambassador in Malaysia Ibete Fernández Hernández, denounced the resurgence of the blockade based on the measures announced by the United States government last November 8.
Kuala Lumpur, November 17- The Cuban Ambassador in Malaysia, Ibete Fernández, participated in the launch of the Malaysian rum of Havana Clun Union rum, which will begin to be distributed in this country by the Pernord Ricard company.
Together with Pernord Ricard's representative in this country, Sebastien Mouquet, the ambassador unveiled the exquisite rum for the audience, designed to match the Havana Club brand and the Cohiba century range. THE WORKERS' CENTRAL UNION OF CUBA PARTICIPATES IN A TRADE UNION EVENT IN CYPRUS
