Indonesia, August 24, 2016. The Cuban Embassy gave the farewell to Naopal, an Indonesian young who received the scholarship from the caribbean island to study medicine for free, as part of the program of cooperation with the Asian country. The meeting held at the headquarters of the Diplomatic Mission of Cuba was attended as well by the parents of the student and other friends of the Embassy.

A sample of the Cuban culture, traditions and of the tourist attractions of the island were exposed under the Culinary Summer Festival held in the city of Bandung, under the auspices of the Mayor of the city and the Indonesian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and with the participation of Latin American and Caribbean Embassies.
THE BAHAMAS, 18th August, 2016.- Yesterday, the Ambassador of Cuba to The Bahamas, Ismara Vargas Walter, bid farewell to the five Bahamians students who will go to Cuba to make their college careers in Medicine and Health Technology.
During the ceremony, the students signed the Code of Ethics, as a commitment to observe the discipline that is reflected in that document. Similarly, they appreciated the opportunity that the government of Cuba offers to the students of different nationalities.
