Cuban Ambassador addresses solidarity members at their annual meeting
Sydney, 6 April 2024. The Cuban Ambassador Tanieris Diéguez addressed the members of the Australia-Cuba Friendship Society (ACFS) during the National Consultation held in the city of Sydney in the Australian state of New South Wales.
At the meeting, which is annually held, the ambassador updated those present on the negative impact of the U.S. blockade on the people of Cuba. She also denounced this immoral policy as well as the inclusion of Cuba on the list of state sponsors of terrorism.
Third Secretary participates in event coordinated by Fiji's embassy in Australia
Canberra, 5 April 2024. The third secretary of the Cuban Embassy in Australia, Ivianes Gonzalez, participated in an event to promote kava and networking, hosted by the Fiji High Commissioner to Australia, Ajay Amrit.
The activity was attended by kava exhibitors, members of the diplomatic corps accredited in Canberra and representatives of the Fijian community living in Australia.
Cuban Consul meets with Cuban resident in the framework of Hispanic Day activities
Canberra, 5 April 2024. The head of consular affairs at the Cuban Embassy in Australia, Ivianes González, met with Yarami Ramos, a Cuban resident, who works as a Spanish teacher at the Radford School in the Australian capital.
The meeting took place within the framework of the Hispanic Day, activity annually held at the school. The occasion was an opportunity to exchange on general consular issues. They also shared typical elements of the Cuban culture with the children.

Cuban ambassador meets with Nauru high commissioner in Australia
Canberra, 4 April 2024. The Cuban Ambassador Tanieris Diéguez met with the High Commissioner of the Republic of Nauru in Australia, Camilla Solomon.
During the meeting, both officials exchanged on the state of bilateral relations between both countries.
They also discussed issues of common interests and projected strategies for possible cooperation in areas such as health and biotechnology.
