Australia-Cuba Business Council participates in event sponsored by ALABAC at IMARC-2023

Sydney, October 31, 2023. As part of the activities carried out at IMARC-2023, the Australia-Latin America Business Council (ALABAC) brought together several of the Latin American businessmen and delegations that participated in it. The Cuba-Australia Business Council participated in this activity, an organization that for several years has promoted commercial and economic relations between both countries.

Biocubafarma delegation visits scientific institutions in Australia

Sydney, 27 October 2023. A delegation from Biocubafarma is visiting the Commonwealth of Australia for scientific exchanges in the biopharmaceutical sector. Dr. Norkis Artega, Business Director of the institution, and Dr. Rafael Gomez from the Centre for Scientific Research exchanged with the director of Raydel, and visited several scientific centres in the Australian city. 

Cuban Ambassador meets with Director of Multilateral Order of the Australian Foreign Ministry

Canberra, 25 October 2023. The Cuban Ambassador to the Commonwealth of Australia met this afternoon with Kate Wallace, Director of Multilateral Order of the Australian Foreign Ministry. 

During the meeting, the diplomats exchanged on the potential for developing relations in multilateral fora, as well as on issues of mutual interest in the multilateral arena. 

AMBASSADOR OF CUBA EXCHANGES WITH CEO OF VENUBOOKA

Canberra, 24 October 2023. The Ambassador of Cuba in the southern country exchanged with John Teres, Founder and CEO of VenuBooka, a company dedicated to the promotion of venues for the holding of events at a global level. 

During the exchange, the parties were able to discuss the potential for the development of the bilateral relationship, in particular for the promotion of events in Cuba.

155th Anniversary of the Bayamo Anthem Commemorated in Australia

Canberra, October 20, 2023. The 155th anniversary of the Anthem of Bayamo was celebrated this afternoon at the Cuban Embassy in Australia. During the activity held at the headquarters of the Cuban diplomatic mission, the Ambassador of Cuba in the southern country unveiled a copy of the oldest known document of the National Anthem to deposit it next to the national flag at the headquarters.
