Speech by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba, at the Extraordinary Ministerial Meeting of CELAC to discuss the breach of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations

Dear Foreign Minister Enrique Reina, 
Dear Ministers and other representatives of our region,

We thank the Pro Tempore Presidency of Honduras for the timely convening of this meeting. We also support the convening of a Summit Meeting of Presidents and Prime Ministers of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States later this week.

Friends demonstrate in Sydney demanding a halt to the blockade and the U.S. aggression against Cuban medical cooperation

Sydney, 8 April 2024. Members of the Australia-Cuba Friendship Society (ACFS) demonstrated in Sydney to demand the end of the U.S. government's blockade on Cuba and the U.S. aggressions against Cuban medical cooperation.

Friends in solidarity ratified their support to the Cuban people and government and reaffirmed their commitment to continue defending and supporting the Cuban Revolution.

The Australian movement is an evidence of its solidarity actions for more than four decades.

 

Joint Statement of the Australia-Cuba Friendship Society at the 2024 National Consultation

Canberra, 8 April 2024. The Australia-Cuba Friendship Society (ACFS) adopted a Joint Statement as a result of the National Consultation held on April 6-7 in Sydney.

We thank friends of solidarity for all their actions in support of the Cuban people and government.

Third Secretary participates in commemoration of 1994 genocide against Tutsi

Canberra, 7 April 2024. The third secretary of the Cuban Embassy in Australia, Ivianes Gonzalez, participated in the 30th commemoration of the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi, held in the Australian Parliament under the coordination of the High Commissioner of the Republic of Rwanda in Australia, Jean de Dieu Uwihanganye.

The commemoration was attended by members of the diplomatic corps accredited in Canberra, as well as the Rwandan community living in Australia.

Cuban Resident in Australia Addresses Annual Meeting of Australian Solidarity Movement
