Cuban Ambassador participates in Women Ambassadors' Event on Gender Equality.

Canberra, 15 November 2023. The Ambassador of Cuba participated in a meeting of women Ambassadors to share experiences on Gender Equality, hosted by the Embassy of the Philippines in this capital. 

The event was an opportunity to present Cuba's progress in this area, in particular with the approval of the new Family Code.

Cuban Ambassador participates in King Charles III Anniversary Celebration

Canberra, 14 November 2023. The Cuban Ambassador to the Commonwealth of Australia participated in the celebration of the Anniversary of King Charles III, hosted by the Embassy of the United Kingdom in this capital. 

During the event, she conveyed greetings on behalf of the Cuban authorities and exchanged with members of the diplomatic corps present at the celebration.

Embassy members participate in event hosted by the Embassy of Mexico

Canberra, 14 November, 2023. Members of the Embassy, led by the Third Secretary, participated in "La Sobremesa", an event hosted by the Embassy of Mexico.

"La Sobremesa" project is a community awareness and education program aimed at helping the community understand gender inequality; how to challenge gender stereotypes and roles; and understand healthy relationships and consent.

The activity provided an excellent opportunity to exchange on these issues of significant importance.

Solidarity Movement in Canberra organizes event against the Blockade and in support of Australia Cuba Children Hospital

Canberra, November 11, 2023. During this evening, the Cuba Solidarity Movement in the city of Canberra (ACFS), held an event to denounce the Economic, Commercial and Financial Blockade imposed by the United States against Cuba. At the same time the event served to raise funds to support the project "Australia-Cuba Children Hospital" which for several years has been contributing to pediatric hospitals in the city of Havana and has served as a bridge of solidarity and love between the two peoples. 

Australian maestro and conductor Lee Bracegirdle touring Cuban cities

Camaguey, 11 November 2023. The Australian Maestro and conductor Lee Bracegirdle has made an artistic tour of several cities in Cuba. Among them are the cities of Camaguey and Santa Clara. During the tour, the renowned Australian artist made statements to the journalist Yanetsy León González of the newspaper "Adelante", which are reproduced below and can be consulted at:
