Nassau, June 9, 2026. – The Ambassador of the Republic of Cuba to the Commonwealth of The Bahamas, H.E. Mr. Juan Carlos Marcof Sánchez, held cordial meetings today with the Hon. Patricia Deveaux, Speaker of the House of Assembly, and the Hon. Senator Lashell Adderley, President of the Senate of The Bahamas.

Bruno Rodríguez: "The threat of the use of force against Cuba by the world’s greatest military power is coupled with the suffocating tightening of its economic, commercial, and financial blockade against our country, exacerbated by an oil embargo equivalent to a naval blockade, and the imposition of other coercive economic measures against third countries (...)"
