Raúl and Díaz-Canel lead May Day celebrations in Havana

Nassau, March 25, 2025. The Cuban Ambassador to the Commonwealth of The Bahamas, Julio César González Marchante, participated in a diplomatic activity organized by the Corps of Honorary Consuls in the country, with the new Police Commissioner, Shanta Knowles, as special guest.

In her keynote address, the Guest of Honor highlighted the main strategies she proposes with her team and in coordination with other government entities and the population to address the high crime rates in the country and advance the goal of Creating Safe Communities.
