Cuba and the European Union will hold talks on Sustainable Development
Havana, April 24, 2024. On Thursday, April 25, Cuba and the European Union will hold talks on Sustainable Development, in Brussels, Belgium, under the Political Dialogue and Cooperation Agreement concluded between both parties in 2016 and put into force, provisionally, in 2017, which is in its fourth implementation cycle. This dialogue will continue the one held in June 2022, in Havana.
The Bahamas and Cuba strengthen educational cooperation.
Nassau, April 17, 2024. Cuban Ambassador Julio César González Marchante and the representative of the educational collaboration Ángela San Martín Corrales farewell at the international airport to a delegation from the Ministries of Education and Labor and Public Services, which traveled to Cuba to talk on the educational collaboration developed by both countries, and to interview possible candidates to try as teachers in the national education system.
Cuba and the United States hold immigration talks in Washington DC
Washington, April 16, 2024 - On April 16, 2024, representatives of Cuba and the United States held bilateral migration talks in Washington DC.
Deputy Foreign Minister Carlos Fernández de Cossío Domínguez headed the Cuban delegation and Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for the State Department's Bureau of Western Hemisphere Affairs Eric Jacobstein led the U.S. delegation.
During the meeting, the parties reviewed the implementation of the bilateral Migration Agreements, whose texts set forth the mutual commitment to guarantee regular, safe and orderly migration.
