Nassau, December 4th, 2019. The Cuban ambassador, Alejandro García del Toro paid a courtesy visit to the Vice Commodore of the Royal Bahamas Defense Force, Captain Raymond King. At the headquarters of that institution, both exchanged on the effectiveness and usefulness of the cooperation implemented in recent years between the Border Guard Troops of the Ministry of Interior and the Royal Bahamas Defense Force.
45th anniversary of the diplomatic relations between Cuba and The Bahamas
On November 30th, the diplomatic relations between Cuba and the Commonwealth of The Bahamas arrived to the 45th anniversary. In all these years, both nations have built a positive relationship and lasting ties. We have promoted exchanges in different areas such as health, education, agriculture and migration.
