Ambassador of Portugal pays a courtesy call on Cuban Ambassador to The Bahamas
Nassau, 19 March 2019. In a cordial meeting at the Embassy of the Republic of Cuba in The Bahamas, the Ambassador-Designate of Portugal, Hon. Mr. Domingos Fezas Vital paid a courtesy call on the Cuban Ambassador, Ismara Vargas Walter. They both exchanged about the links of their nations with The Bahamas and the excellent state of bilateral relations Cuba - Portugal.
Cuba and The Bahamas bet for a greater cultural exchange

Nassau, February 20, 2019. Continuing exchanges begun more than five years ago, from February 20 to 25, 2019, a Bahamian delegation headed by the Honorable Shonel Ferguson, Member of Parliament and President of Clifton Historical Park visit Cuba. The delegation also includes members of the Antiquities, Monuments and Museums of The Bahamas and other Bahamian institutions.
Cuba and The Bahamas have “Healthy Bilateral Relationship”
Nassau, 18 February 2019. Cuban Ambassador to the Bahamas, Ismara M. Vargas Walter highlighted the achievement during her remarks to the Rotary Club of East Nassau a few days ago. Under the theme “The meaning of cooperation between two small nations: Cuba and The Bahamas”, the diplomat noted these two countries began cooperating with each other even prior to the start of formal diplomatic relations, which officially commenced on November 30, 1974.
