Second Cuban Cultural Week is inaugurated in The Bahamas
NASSAU, October 14th, 2015. On Tuesday, October 13th, it was officially inaugurated in The Bahamas, the Second Cuban Cultural Week, which will take place until Friday, October 16th.
The second edition of the Second Cuban Cultural Week has been organized by the Cuban Embassy in this capital and the School of Liberal Arts of the College of The Bahamas (COB), which is the main venue of this event.
Minister of Financial Services of The Bahamas attends Cuba-Caribbean Business Forum.
Nassau, July 14th, 2015. Today arrived to Habana The Hon. Hope Strachan, Minister of Financial Services of The Bahamas, with the objective of fulfilling an invitation of her Cuban counterpart Minister Rodrigo Malmierca Díaz.
The member of the Bahamian parliament, also heads a delegation that will attend the Cuba-Caribbean Business Forum, taking place in Santiago de Cuba on July 15th-17th.
Cuba participated at the closing of the Bahamas Junkanoo Carnival
BAHAMAS, May 11th, 2015.- On Saturday, May 9, the Bahamian capital vibrated to the rhythm of the prominent Cuban group Manolito Simonet y su Trabuco who were invited to close the "Bahamas Junkanoo Carnival", first of its kind celebrated in this territory.
The Cuban group visited the Bahamas invited by the Organizing Committee of the "Junkanoo Carnival Bahamas" and was part of a group of bands, mostly Caribbeans, that contaminated the city last Saturday night.
