Barbados participate in the 70th Anniversary of the Assault on the Moncada Barracks

 

 

 

The president of the Cuba-Barbados Friendship Association, David Denny participated in the celebrations of the 70th anniversary of the assaults on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes Barracks on behalf of the Cuba solidarity movement in Barbados.

At the event held in untamed Santiago de Cuba, Denny expressed his commitment to defend the Cuban Revolution and with it also the principles and values that the Cuban process represents for the progressive movement in the region and the world.

 

 

Future collaboration in benefit of people of Barbados

The Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology of Cuba, Export Barbados and the Ministry Health & Wellness Barbados with the participation of the Cuban Embassy in Barbados, held a virtual meeting on future collaboration projects in the fight against Diabetes.

This kind of initiaves contribute to strengthening the relationshinps between both countries in benefit of our people.

Women at the Embassy of Cuba

The Cuban Ambassador, Yanet Stable Càrdenas had fruitful conversation with the directors of the Women's League and the League of Young Socialists of the #Barbados Labor Party.

During the talks were identified common interests to promote the exchange with the Federation of Cuban Women and the Communist Youth Union, respectively.

The Ambassador of Cuba in Barbados, Yanet Stable Cárdenas held meetings with the Executive Director of Export Barbados, Mark Hill and James Clarke, Vice President of the Barbados Chamber of Commerce to continuing strengthening ties in the commercial sector.

Both ratified their intention to attend the EXPOCARIBE Fair, where business and trade opportunities between the countries of the Caribbean region will be presented.

 

Cuba to help Barbados grow agriculture

Cuba’s new Ambassador to Barbados Yanet Stable Cárdenas has declared her commitment to working to improve agriculture in both countries.

Ambassador Cárdenas made this pledge during a courtesy call with Minister of Agriculture, Food and Nutritional Security Indar Weir at the Ministry’s Graeme Hall, Christ Church headquarters, this morning.
