Barbadian cyclists prepared by Cuban trainer harvest new laurels.

Three athletes of the Barbadian Cycling Federation participated in the XXXIX National Cycling Tour in the Dominican Republic as preparation for Central American Games, in which Joshua Kelly achieved the Bronze Medal.In expressing his satisfaction with the result achieved, his Cuban coach, Mijaíl Sánchez, one of the eight Cuban sports technicians hired in various disciplines by the National Sports Council of Barbados, this competition is also important because it is marking the first preparation stage for the Pan-American Road competition, qualifying event for the Pan American Cycling Games.

Cuba wins gold medal in qualifying triathlon in Barbados for the Central American Games.

The Cuban triathlon athlete, Daniela Ciara, won the Gold Medal in the competition of that modality held in Barbados on February 18, which gave her the classification for the next Central American Games to be held next summer in Barranquilla, Colombia. According to his coach, Aurelio Romero Santana, with that result the goal set for the event was obtained. In the same competition, in which the Pan American Cup was also disputed, the Antillean athlete obtained the sixth place in the general classification.
