Demand in Miami an end to the Blockade of Cuba

This Sunday a hundred Cubans residing in the state of Florida met in the city of Miami in favor of the elimination of the blockade on Cuba.
 
The initiative of the Bridges of Love project once again demonstrated the need to put an end to this hostile policy that has caused innumerable damage for more than six decades.
 
More than eighty cars left from the city council headquarters to Coral Gables. From there, they demanded an end to the sanctions and the blockade against the Island.
 

Despite the US blockade, Cuba developed its own coronavirus vaccines and now seeks to share them with the Global South

The blockade that the United States has imposed on Cuba for the last 60 years prevents, among other things, products manufactured in the United States from being exported to Cuba. This has prompted the small island nation to develop its own vaccines for COVID-19 and to work with open source designs for life-saving medical equipment such as ventilators.

Communist Party issues declaration of support for Cuba.

The Communist Party of Aotearoa (Te Nuku Mauī CPA) issued a declaration of support for Cuba, the text of which reads: “Te Nuku Mauī CPA congratulates Cuba as it opens up after a successful campaign against the coronavirus that has seen it become the only country to vaccinate all its citizens using domestically developed COVID-19 vaccines.

The Auckland Cuba Friendship Society condemns US provocations against Cuba.

Auckland. November 14. A new statement of support from friends of Cuba in New Zealand reads:

Oppose the United States government’s November 15 provocations against Cuba!

The Auckland Cuba Friendship Society condemns the United States government’s financing and organizing of groups within Cuba to hold provocative protests on November 15. These groups oppose Cuba’s socialist political system, and aim to destabilize it and restore capitalism to Cuba.

Havana, November 10. Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez denounced before the Diplomatic Corps accredited in Cuba the destabilizing maneuvers promoted from the United States.

Namibia, September 23rd, 2021- H.E. Dr. Hage Geingob, President of the Republic of Namibia, called, once again, for the end of the economic, commercial and financial blockade of the United States against Cuba, in his speech at the General Debate of the 76th session of the United Nations General Assembly.

President Díaz-Canel visited Mexico and participated in the CELAC Summit.

Mexico City, September 17. The Cuban President participated as a special guest in the celebrations for the independence of Mexico and held a friendly meeting with his counterpart Andrés Manuel López Obrador, whom he thanked for the traditional solidarity of Mexico and his repeated condemnation of the US blockade against Cuba.

Díaz-Canel also participated in the Summit of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC), which also spoke out against Washington's aggressive policy against the island.
