Donation from Canada in support of the events at the Saratoga Hotel.
Ottawa, May 30, 2022.- The "Juan Gualberto Gómez" Association of Cuban Residents in Toronto made a donation of medical supplies, for an approximate value of 73 thousand Canadian dollars, in response to the events that occurred at the Saratoga Hotel, on May 6 of this year, where more than 99 people were injured. The destination of this donation will be the "General Calixto García" Clinical and Surgical Teaching Hospital, in Havana, the institution that received the largest number of injured people.
Students from the Innisdale School are received at the General Consulate of Cuba in Toronto.
Toronto, May 26, 2022 - The Consul General of Cuba in Toronto, Jorge Yanier Castellanos Orta, and the president of the Canada-Cuba Friendship Association (CCFA) of Toronto, Elizabeth Hill, held a meeting at the headquarters of the Cuban consulate in this city with eleventh grade students from Innisdale High School.
Cubacan Kids: a project of love.
Ottawa, April 24, 2022.- Between music and dances was held the fundraising dance coordinated by the Cubacan Kids project. This project responds to the interest of Bill Ryan and other friends from Canada in helping the children of our island, by sending school supplies and other useful items for Elementary and Special Education.
Bonds of friendships between Quebec and Cuba
Ottawa, April, 6 2022.- On the afternoon of April 5, Susana Malmierca Benítez, General Consul in Montreal, received a courtesy visit from Christine Dandenault and Geneviève Royer, both members of the Table de concertation de solidarité Québec - Cuba.
During the meeting, the historic ties of friendship shared by Quebec and Cuba were recalled. They also discussed topics of interest related to the implementation of future exchange and collaboration projects. The visit took place in an atmosphere of friendship and respect.

Ottawa, April 4, 2022.- With music, joy, joint efforts and a lot of Cuban spirit, several days were dedicated to the filling of containers in the Canadian cities of Montreal and Toronto, consisting of medical supplies, food and cleaning materials for Cuba.
The initiatives were promoted by the Cuban Community Association in Canada, friends of the Table de concertation de solidarité Québec - Cuba and the "Juan Gualberto Gómez" Association of Cubans. Likewise, members of the General Consulates in these cities participated in the meetings.
