Danish-Cuban Friendship Association reaffirms its support to the lifting of the blockade against Cuba

Danish-Cuban Friendship Association at its annual meeting 2018

Copenhagen- Danish-Cuban Association of Friendship in its annual Assembly held on Saturday, March 17, reaffirmed its solidarity with the Cuban people and its support to the struggle to lift the blockade against Cuba, as well as the return of the territory illegally occupied by the United States in Guantánamo Naval Base. Representatives from different branches of the Association, namely Fyn, Aalborg, Aarhus y Kolding, participated in the meeting.

Cuban and Afghan leaders extend condolences to Azerbaijani president

Raúl Castro Ruz, President of Cuba's Councils of State and Ministers, has extended his condolences to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, APA reported. The letter reads as follows: “Dear Mr President, I’m deeply saddened by the news of the death of people as a consequence of a fire at the drug abuse rehabilitation center in Baku. I extend my heartfelt condolences to You and the families of the victims. Please accept my highest respect and esteem.”

President of Afghanistan Mohammad Ashraf Ghani Ahmadzai has also sent a letter of condolences to Azerbaijan’s head of state.

Den Haag, 6 maart 2018 – Een delegatie van de Mariel Speciale Ontwikkelings Zone (MSDZ) ondernam een driedaags werkbezoek aan Nederland. Oscar Pérez-Oliva Fraga, directeur van Bedrijfsbeoordeling bij de MSDZ, en Yohana De León García, juridisch adviseur, hielden vergaderingen met hun Nederlandse tegenhangers die zich al in de Zone hebben gevestigd en met anderen waarmee zij al potentiële zakenmogelijkheden zagen. Ook spraken zij met Guido Landheer, plaatsvervangend Directeur Generaal van Buitenlandse Economische Betrekkingen bij het Ministerie van Economische Zaken.

Mayor of Sankt Pölten receives delegation from the Embassy of Cuba in Austria

 An extensive program of work in the capital of the region of Lower Austria made a representation of the Embassy of Cuba in Austria, headed by the Chargé d'Affaires a.i. Marieta García Jordán. The Cuban delegation was received at the City Hall by the Mayor, Matthias Stadler, who is also President of the Social Democratic Party (SPÖ) in Lower Austria and one of the Vice Presidents of that party at the Federal level; by the Federal Parliamentarian, Robert Laimer and by other members of the City Council.
