CALL TO ONLINE FORUM "Scientific exchange on the alleged sonic attacks in Havana"

As you know, Cuba faces a new aggression against its sovereignty, dignity and attachment to the truth. The alleged sonic attacks are now the new pretext for this aggression, which justifies a policy aimed at rolling back bilateral relations between Cuba and the US. The purpose of this message is to invite you to participate in an online discussion forum that has been convened by Cuban experts and scientists to denounce the falsity of this campaign, entitled "Scientific exchange on the supposed acoustic attacks that occurred in Havana".

Saint Lucia recognizes the Cuban Medical Cooperation.

Castries, November 2, 2017. Senator the Honourable Mary Isaac, Minister for Health and Wellness, received the Cuban Ambassador, Jorge Francisco Soberon Luis, who presented the Minister with the invitation to participate in the International Health Convention "Cuba Salud 2018" and the "Health for All" Fair, to take place in April 2018 in Havana.

The International Community once again demands the end of the Blockade against Cuba

The UN General Assembly almost unanimously adopted this Wednesday, 1 November for the twenty-sixth consecutive year, the resolution demanding the lifting of the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by United States against Cuba for almost 60 years.

The resolution was adopted by 191 votes in favor, 2 votes against, and 0 abstentions. The United Nations has 193 Member States.

Cuba and Saint Lucia celebrate Culture Day.

Sponsored by the “Humanistic Solidarity Association Saint Lucia-Cuba”, on the afternoon of Sunday, October 22, the Cuba-Saint Lucia Culture Day was celebrated at the Piaye Secondary School in the southern district of Choiseul, an activity that was attended by leaders of the movement of solidarity with Cuba on the island, with labor parliamentarian Alva Baptiste, as well as with the ambassadors of Cuba and the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela and officials of said diplomatic missions.

Cuban Ambassador receives Saint Lucian parliamentary leader.

The Cuban Ambassador in Saint Lucia, Jorge Soberon, received on October 4, 2017, at the diplomatic mission, the Speaker of the Legislative Assembly, the Honorable Leonne Theodore-John. During the meeting, the friendly relationship between the two countries and the support of the Saint Lucian House of Assembly for the development of cooperation were confirmed, particularly in the areas of health and education.

Cuban Ambassador visits artisans from Choiseul.

The purpose of the visit was to assess the possible exchange of experiences between artisans from Cuba and Choiseul. Accompanied Ambassador Jorge Soberon the parliamentarian representing that district, Minister Bradly Felix. The tour took place during the celebration season of the Creole culture in Saint Lucia and allowed to verify the skill of the artisans. Craft is an activity that offers opportunities for the development of cultural relations and collaboration between the two Caribbean countries.

Political leader of the Labor Party SLP denounces the Blockade.

The statement came as part of the speech delivered by the parliamentarian, Opposition Leader and Political Leader of the Labor Party of Saint Lucia (SLP), Philip J. Pierre, during the open session of the annual Conference of Delegates of that political organization, which took place on October 8, 2017, in the district of Vieux Fort South.
