The Project is coordinated by the Office of Cuba’s Martí Program, and is currently regarded as the sole supranational initiative in today’s world to promote the study, knowledge and dissemination of information on the life and work of a paramount figure in the field of ideas.
The opening remarks of the workshop were delivered by the Director General of the OPCW His Excellency Mr. Ahmet Uzümcü and the current President of the Executive Council and Permanent Representative of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh His Excellency Mr. Sheikh Mohammed Belal
With his charisma and exceptional voice and display of Cuban flavor, Eliades Ochoa and his musicians were received with ovations by aan audience that danced and enjoyed every one of the pieces performed at the show.

I am confident that, under your leadership, the growing relations between Cuba and the Preparatory Commission for the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty Organization (CTBTO) will be further strengthened.
Port of Spain, May 1st.- The Ministry of Education of Trinidad and Tobago published the call for the 5 scholarships for Medical Studies (3 undergraduate and 2 postgraduate) offered annually by the Government of Cuba to young Trinidadians for the academic year 2018- 2019. The initiative is part of the agreements and commitments of Cuba with the countries that make up CARICOM, fruit of which 5,432 young people from the Caribbean have been trained as professionals in Cuban Universities, of them around one hundred Trinidadians. Currently, 723 young Caribbean students are studying in Cuba.
The Embassy of Cuba in the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the Consulate of Cuba in Rotterdam inform that they willl remain closed on Friday April 27 and Tuesday May 1, 2018 for holidays.
Both the Embassy and the Consulate will open on Monday April 30, 2018 and will resume their activities on Wednesday May 2, 2018.

Een delegatie van de Ambassade van de Republiek Cuba in Nederland, geleid door ambassadeur Soraya Alvarez Núñez, bezocht op de middag van donderdag 19 april het Cervantes Instituut in Utrecht om deel te nemen aan het programma van festiviteiten naar aanleiding van de Dag van de Spaanse taal en Wereldboekendag.
The Ambassador of Cuba in Austria, Juan Antonio Fernández Palacios and the Federal Minister of Constitution, Reforms, Deregulation and Justice of Austria, Dr. Josef Moser, held a fraternal meeting at the headquarters of the Austrian Ministry, which ratified the will of both parties to maintain active ties in the legal sector.
