Cuban Ambassador meets with the Ambassador of Palestine and the Ambassador of Brazil in Cyprus.
On the morning of 28 February, the Cuban Ambassador participated in a meeting with the Ambassador of Brazil, Mr. Eduardo Augusto Ibiapina de Seixas and the Ambassador of Palestine, Mr. Abdali Attari at the Brazilian Embassy in Nicosia.
The Ambassador of Palestine thanked the statements of principle of the President of Brazil, Luis Inacio Lula da Silva on the genocide taking place in the Gaza Strip and also the President of Cuba, Miguel Diaz Canel for the continuous denunciation of the situation of the Palestinians.
Cuban Ambassador holds a meeting with the Chairman of the Democratic Party
The Cuban Ambassador to the Republic of Cyprus, H.E. Mr. Angel Gustavo Suarez Cordero, held a fruitful meeting with the Chairman of the Democratic Party (DIKO), Mr. Nikolas Papadopoulos at the Party headquarters.
At the meeting they discussed the historical ties, solidarity and mutual support between the two countries. In addition, Mr. Papadopoulos discussed the challenges of the Party in the forthcoming elections to the local authorities and the European Parliament and their specificities, as well as the situation prevailing in Europe.
Cuban Ambassador attends the event "Diplomacy meets Business".
The Ambassador of Cuba to the Republic of Cyprus, H.E. Mr. Angel Gustavo Suarez Cordero, attended the "Diplomacy meets Business" series, on this occasion dedicated to "Science, Technology and Innovation for Business and Government", at the Zest Restaurant in Pinakothiki, as part of the Economic Diplomacy actions implemented by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Cyprus Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
The Ambassador of Cuba holds a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Culture
The Ambassador of Cuba to the Republic of Cyprus, H.E. Mr. Angel Gustavo Suarez Cordero, held on 20 February a meeting with the Deputy Minister of Culture, Mrs. Vasiliki Kassianidou at the offices of the Deputy Ministry.
The Ambassador personally congratulated Ms. Kassianidou on her appointment as Deputy Minister of Culture and informed her about the collaborations planned in the immediate future and suggested some other projects in order to improve the existing cultural relations between the two countries.
