Cubans in Denmark reject the new sanctions imposed by the US Government against Cuba
The Group “Cubanos en Dinamarca” expressed a broad rejection to the new sanctions imposed by the US Government against Cuba, through a statement posted on its Facebook page on May 2.
Through the text, the association of Cubans living in Denmark denounced the new aggression of the United States government against the Cuban people and conveyed its opposition to the activation of Title III of the Helms-Burton Act given its extraterritorial and illegal nature that violates international law.

Strangely, the date was chosen by the current U.S. government to announce new aggressive measures against Cuba and to reinforce their implementation of the Monroe Doctrine.
Solidarity with Venezuela, Nicaragua and Cuba from Copenhagen
An event of solidarity with Venezuela, Nicaragua and Cuba took place at the headquarters of the BJMF Union in Copenhagen, which consisted of a conference on the media war in Latin America, followed by a cultural activity. The ambassador of Cuba in Denmark, Yiliam Gómez Sardiñas; the ambassador of Nicaragua to the Scandinavian countries, Ricardo Alvarado Noguera and the Chargé d’ affaires of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to the Scandinavian countries, Orlando Ramos Ortegano Quevedo were among the speakers at the conference.
