Tribute to Fidel in Denmark
On November 25 the organization "Artists for Peace" in Denmark, together with the Embassy of Cuba in this country and other Danish friends paid tribute to the Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, on the occasion of commemorating the second anniversary of his death. The Cuban ambassador, Yiliam Gómez Sardiñas presented an exhibition that reflects Fidel's legacy to the internationalist and solidarity work of the Cuban Revolution. Many guests expressed admiration and respect towards the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution as strong defender of peace and social justice.
Deployment against US blockade on Danish streets
On October 17, more than 500 leaflets on the history of the US blockade against Cuba and its impact were distributed on the streets of several cities in Denmark. Likewise, copies of the letter of the Danish-Cuban Association of Friendship sent to the US President Donald Trump, calling for the end of that genocidal policy, were also disseminated.
Danish-Cuban Association of Friendship celebrates 50 years of solidarity with Cuba
Danish-Cuban Association of Friendship celebrated the 50th anniversary of being created last 12 October, through an activity carried out in the city of Odense that was attended by Danish friends, the Embassy of Cuba in Denmark and Cubans resident in that country.
Deputy Speaker of the Danish Parliament expresses his support to Cuba in its struggle against blockade
The Cuban ambassador in Denmark, Yiliam Gómez Sardiñas, held a meeting with the vice president and member of the Presidium of the Danish Parliament Christian Juhl, who conveyed his support to Cuba in the fight against the illegal blockade imposed by the United States government.
