USA's blokade mod Cuba kan om en måned ramme Danmark og danskere hårdt
USA's præsident Trump og udenrigsministeriet i Washington har den 16. januar taget et dramatisk skridt, som kan føre til, at blokaden mod Cuba fra 1. marts går ind i en ny fase, hvor den – ud over at blive endnu mere ødelæggende for Cuba – kan få meget alvorlige konsekvenser for europæiske og danske interesser.
Cubans and Danes paid tribute to Marti on the 166th anniversary of his birthday
On the occasion of the 166th anniversary of José Martí birthday, the Embassy of Cuba in Denmark organized a journey to pay tribute to Cuba's National Hero. Firstly, an activity with a group of Cuban residents in Denmark and their descendants took place in the diplomatic premise where the Cuban consul explained some episodes about Marti’s life which are poorly known. White flowers were laid to the bust of the Apostle by the participants.

Tribute to Fidel in Denmark
On November 25 the organization "Artists for Peace" in Denmark, together with the Embassy of Cuba in this country and other Danish friends paid tribute to the Commander in Chief Fidel Castro Ruz, on the occasion of commemorating the second anniversary of his death. The Cuban ambassador, Yiliam Gómez Sardiñas presented an exhibition that reflects Fidel's legacy to the internationalist and solidarity work of the Cuban Revolution. Many guests expressed admiration and respect towards the historical leader of the Cuban Revolution as strong defender of peace and social justice.
