Interview to the ambassador about the presence of women at the new elected Cuban parliament
The newspaper Arbejderen in its edition of May Day published the interview to the Ambassador of Cuba in Denmark, Yiliam Gómez Sardiñas, about the increased presence of women in the new legislature of the National Assembly of People's Power. The ambassador explained that the Cuban Parliament is composed for the first time in its majority by women, that with 322 women among its 605 members, they represent more than 53 percent.

Today, Cuba elects its new president. It attracts considerable attention in the media that the "Castro era" ends, as it is formulated differently.
Cuba has a unique and different democracy than we know from the western classical bourgeois democracy. Of course, it has landed because Cuba is a socialist country! That's why it's annoying - it's manipulative that almost everybody measures Cuba with a bourgeois scale, and often Cuba's democracy is judging because it's not organized like in Denmark or other western countries.
The will of the Cuban government to continue making progress in the updating process of its economic model was reaffirmed in Denmark
In an event held on April 13 with representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Danish Confederation of Industries, entrepreneurs, diplomats, as well as members of solidarity groups, the Ambassador of Cuba in Denmark Yiliam Gómez Sardiñas reaffirmed the will of her country to continue making progress in the updating process of the Cuban economic model.
