Danish Communist Parties reaffirm their solidarity with Cuba and remember Fidel during the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the October Revolution
In the framework of the celebration of the 100th anniversary of the October Revolution, on November 11 the Danish Communist Parties reaffirmed in Copenhagen their support and solidarity with Cuba at a time when the economic, commercial and financial blockade policy against the Caribbean island is reinforced.
Commemorated in Copenhagen the 50th anniversary of the fall of Che Guevara and his guerrilla comrades in Bolivia
In commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the fall of Che and guerrilla comrades in Bolivia, the Embassy of Cuba in Denmark held an activity to pay tribute to them on October 9th, which included the screening of the documentary "A photo travels the world", made by Pedro Chaskel. Likewise, a photographic exhibition of different stages of the life of the Heroic Guerrilla was inaugurated and it will be exposed during the month of October in the Embassy of Cuba in Copenhagen.
Cuba shows in UNICEF its strategy to develop the vaccine industry
From 2 to 6 October 2017, the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) in Copenhagen hosted the Vaccine Acquisition Professionals Exchange Forum and the UNICEF Annual Consultation with the Global Vaccine Industry, respectively. Cuba was present in both appointments, represented by MsC Danev Ricardo Pérez Valerino, Head of International Relations of the Finlay Institute of Vaccines, belonging to the BioCubaFarma Business Group.
Danish magazine reports effects of blockade against Cuba
Cuba Bladet magazine, promoted by the Danish-Cuban Association of Friendship in Denmark, dedicates in its September edition several articles that reflect the multiple effects that the economic, commercial and financial blockade imposed by the United States over 50 years has caused to the Cuban people.
Unveiled mural of Cuban painters in the Danish city of Kolding
In the framework of the journey against the blockade, a mural made by two Cuban painters Grettel Arrate and Grisel Rivera was inaugurated on September 15 in the city of Kolding, Denmark. This mural is the first of a set of murals that these Cuban artists will develop in different cities of Denmark, in collaboration with the Danish-Cuban Association of Friendship. As part of the program, they will continue to disseminate the Cuban art through their mural paintings in the Danish cities of Aarhus, European Capital of Culture in 2017 and Copenhagen.
