Danish-Cuban Friendship Association makes a statement asking for the closure of Guantanamo Base and its return to Cuba
The Cuba-Denmark Friendship Association has issued a press statement in which it demands that the United States close the base located in Guantanamo Bay and return the illegally occupied territory to Cuba. The declaration indicates that since 1959, the Cuban government and the Cuban people have requested the United States to close the base and return it.
The Cuban-Danish Friendship Association also criticizes in its statement the recent decision of US President Donald Trump to keep the torture camp open, and states that this will not strengthen peace or security.
A Cuban delegation from the Livestock Enterprise Group visits Denmark
A Cuban delegation from the Group GEGAN of the Cuban Ministry of Agriculture visited Denmark from 21 to 25 January to explore opportunities of business and cooperation. A new book about the history of Cuba and the Cuban society is available in Danish bookstores. The book entitled "Cuba-historie og samfund", written by Brian Rasmussen, was published in Danish by Frydenlund/
Brian Rasmussen is a Danish journalist, friend of Cuba and member of the Danish-Cuban Association of Friendship. He was Chairman of the Association some years ago. (Embacuba Dinamarca)
Cuban Ambassador presents the Cuba’s reality to a group of Danes in Randers
The Ambassador of Cuba in Denmark, Yiliam Gómez Sardiñas, had a gathering on January 14 with a group of Danes from the city of Randers who are interested in knowing about the Cuban reality, and particularly about the development of the health system in the Island.
