Exhibition “Santiago-Art from the cradle of the Revolution” in Copenhagen

Copenhagen - An exhibition of the works of four Cuban artists was inaugurated in the Danish capital on February 11th at the Havana Kunsthandel Art Gallery, with the name "Santiago - Art from the cradle of the Revolution". Presented by photographer Waldo Gutiérrez, from Santiago de Cuba, the exhibition includes his photographic sample as well the works made by three other Cuban artists: Alexei Cutiño, Carlos Parra and Isabel Álvarez who recreated the gallery with paintings, photographs and cartoons which reflect the roots of Cuban culture.

Honor to Martí and Fidel in Denmark

Copenhagen- On the eve of celebrating the 164th anniversary of the birth of the Cuban National Hero, José Martí, the Danish newspaper Arbejderen published an article that pays tribute to the Cuban patriot. The publication highlights the anti-imperialist and Latin American thinking of Martí. At the same time, the article honors Fidel Castro and reflects the link between both historical personalities as well as highlights Fidel's inspiration in the ideas of Martí, which served as a guide to the leader of the Cuban Revolution to carry out his immense revolutionary work.

2.    Reaffirming the Proclamation of Latin America and the Caribbean as a Zone of Peace, adopted at its Second Summit in Havana on January 29th, 2014;
