Unveiled mural of Cuban painters in the Danish city of Kolding
In the framework of the journey against the blockade, a mural made by two Cuban painters Grettel Arrate and Grisel Rivera was inaugurated on September 15 in the city of Kolding, Denmark. This mural is the first of a set of murals that these Cuban artists will develop in different cities of Denmark, in collaboration with the Danish-Cuban Association of Friendship. As part of the program, they will continue to disseminate the Cuban art through their mural paintings in the Danish cities of Aarhus, European Capital of Culture in 2017 and Copenhagen.
Danish Solidarity with Cuba after Hurricane Irma
Following the devastating hurricane Irma for Cuba, the Danish-Cuban Friendship Association has expressed its solidarity and full support to the Cuban people, and has called for support to the Caribbean nation in its recovery phase.
Cuba highlights in Denmark the Proclamation of Latin America and the Caribbean as a Zone of Peace
In the framework of the Festival for Peace held in the Danish city of Roskilde, Cuba's Ambassador to Denmark, Yiliam Gómez Sardiñas, stressed the importance of the total elimination of nuclear weapons, while highlighted the scope of the Proclamation of Latin America and the Caribbean as a Zone of Peace, as declared by the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC) in 2014.

Screening of the Cuban film "The Last Supper" at the Cinemateket in Copenhagen
The screening of the Cuban film "The Last Supper", directed by the filmmaker Tomás Gutiérrez Alea (Titón, 1928-1996) was held on June 21 at the Cinematheque (Cinemateket) in Copenhagen. The movies received a very positive reaction from the public.
In the opening remarks, Cuba's Ambassador to Denmark, Yiliam Gómez Sardiñas, highlighted the validity and importance of the messages that this film transmits, even beyond the historical context in which the plot unfolds, as well as the top level artistic performance.
