Meeting of the Cuban Counselor with officials of the WHO office in Egypt
The Counselor of the Embassy of Cuba in Egypt, Dennis Casares Benítez, held a pleasant and fruitful meeting with officials from the World Health Organization office in Egypt interested in learning about Cuba's results in public health, including its international cooperation.
The meeting was useful to explore areas of common interest, especially in how to bring Cuban healthcare’s best practices to Egypt.

On behalf of the Board and the general assembly members of the Egypt Cuba friendship Association (CEFA) I have the honor to forward this message of greetings and congratulates to The Republic of Cuba for electing this great country as a member of the U.N. Human Rights Council.
Cuba was elected by 170 votes out of 192 valid ballots, which means a victory for all the developing countries, and its also means a defeat for the American imperialism.
Videoconference between Cuban health institutions and the UNRWA
The Ambassador of Cuba in Egypt, Tania Aguiar Fernández, participated in a videoconference, organized among the Cuban Ministry of Public Health (MINSAP), the Central Unit for Medical Cooperation (UCCM) and the United Nations Agency for Palestine Refugees in the East Próximo (UNRWA), with the aim of exchanging experiences acquired in the fight against COVID-19.
On the Cuban side, health professionals from the “Pedro Kourí” Institute of Tropical Medicine, the Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology, the UCCM and the Immunassay Center participated.
