Cuba calls for peace in the Middle East
Statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs
Cuba warns of the dangers posed by the impunity with which Israel, with the complicity and support of the United States government, has acted against countries in the Middle East. The illegal attack on the consulate of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Damascus, in flagrant violation of international law and the 1961 Vienna Convention, has endangered international peace and security, leading to a possible regionalization of the conflict with unpredictable consequences for world peace.
Cuba's health minister honors Cuban soldiers who fell on Ethiopian soil

The Minister of Public Health of the Republic of Cuba, Dr. José Angel Portal Miranda, arrived to Ethiopia, on a transit stopover, after concluding a government visit to Rwanda, where he represented our country in the solemn ceremony for the 30th anniversary of the genocide against the Tutsi ethnic group.
Cuba reiterates its solidarity with the brotherly people of Mexico
Cuba condemned, in the strongest terms, the violent raid by the Ecuadorian police on the diplomatic headquarters of Mexico in Quito on April 5, considering it a flagrant violation of International Law, in particular the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations, the right to asylum and the sovereignty of that nation.
