South Sudanese doctors stand in solidarity with Cuba in the face of US measures
Addis Ababa, February 2, 2026 (Prensa Latina).- South Sudanese doctors trained in Cuba expressed their solidarity today in the face of the United States' threat to impose high tariffs on countries that supply oil to the Caribbean island. In a message sent to the Cuban ambassador to Ethiopia, Meylín Suárez, and obtained by Prensa Latina, South Sudanese doctor Sallah Lasu stated that the “Cuban Revolution is, in essence, a revolution of the people, built by the peopleand sustained for the people, who deserve respect.”
UNESCO roundtable addresses african and afro-descendant cultural heritage with cuban participation
