Ethiopian-Cuban voices recover the history of a generation educated in Cuba
Addis Ababa, December 20, 2025.- We reunited with our Ethiopian-Cuban brothers and sisters, this time immersed in the creation of a new audiovisual project aimed at telling the story of their years of study in Cuba. This initiative is led by Ethiopian filmmaker Henok Mebratu, who seeks to recover, through a human and testimonial perspective, the lived experiences of a generation shaped by cultural exchange, solidarity, and academic training between both peoples.
