Secretary General of the Pan-African Women's Organization expresses solidarity with Cuba
Addis Ababa, February 17, 2026.- During his participation in activities at the African Union headquarters, the Cuban Ambassador to the African Union, Lucas Domingo Hernández, held a fruitful and cordial meeting with the Secretary General of the Pan-African Women's Organization (PAWO), Dr. Majoro Grace Kabayo, as well as with a group of prominent women members of that continental organization.
The African Union reiterates its firm rejection of the US blockade against Cuba and demands its exclusion from the list of state sponsors of terrorism
Addis Ababa, February 15, 2026.- For the seventeenth consecutive time, the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the African Union adopted a resolution condemning the economic, commercial, and financial blockade imposed by the United States government against Cuba, a policy that for more than six decades has profoundly affected the Cuban people and hindered their development.
