The African Union reiterates its firm rejection of the US blockade against Cuba and demands its exclusion from the list of state sponsors of terrorism

Addis Ababa, February 15, 2026.- For the seventeenth consecutive time, the Assembly of Heads of State and Government of the African Union adopted a resolution condemning the economic, commercial, and financial blockade imposed by the United States government against Cuba, a policy that for more than six decades has profoundly affected the Cuban people and hindered their development.

From the 39th African Union Summit, the Secretary General of the Socialist Movement of Ghana reaffirms that Cuba is not alone

Addis Ababa, February 14, 2026.- Ghanaian journalist Kwesi Pratt Jnr, director of the Insight newspaper, Secretary General of the Socialist Movement of Ghana and a recognized friend of Cuba, gave statements to the Cuban diplomatic mission in the framework of his participation in the 39th African Union Summit, in which he condemned the new provisions to tighten the blockade against the Island.
