Statement of the Cuban Foreign Ministry on terrorism and political manipulation of the US
Havana, June 1st, 2020. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cuba strongly rejects the inclusion of Cuba in the US State Department list of countries which are allegedly not cooperating fully with US efforts against terrorism.
All the arguments are including in the Cuban note that shows the political manipulation of facts by the US in the case of Colombia. At the same time, the Foreign Ministry of Cuba expressed its concern on the cover-up by the US of the terrorist attack against its Embassy in Washington.
Cuban Foreign Minister congratulates the Africans
Addis Ababa, May 25, 2020. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba, H.E, Mr. Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla sent a congratulatory message to the Chairperson of the African Union Commission, H.E. Mr. Moussa Faki Mahamat on the occasion of Africa Day.
The letter expressed the bonds of friendship existing between Cuba and Africa and ratified the commitment of Cuba to continue expanding cooperation between both parties.
Deputy Chairperson of the AUC congratulates the Cubans on Africa Day
Addis Ababa, May 25, 2020. The Deputy Chairperson of the African Union Commission, H.E. Mr. Thomas Kwesi Quartey sent a congratulatory message to the cherished comrades of Cuba on the occasion of Africa Day.
The message indicated the starting point of the relations of Cuba with Africa during the transatlantic slave trade and acknowledged that later on that Cuba provided valuable assistance to the liberation movements in the continent for independence as well as cooperation in the health and education sectors.
Cuban Foreign Minister on the attack to the Embassy in the United States
Havana, May 12, 2020. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cuba, H.E. Mr. Bruno Rodríguez Parrilla hold a press concference on the terrorist attack against the Cuban Embassy in Washington on April 30th.
The head of the Cuban diplomacy denounced the complicit silence of the US government on the attack. The action could be prevented with the information the US had on the matter.

President of Cuba participated in the NAM Summit of COVID-19
May 4, 2020. The President of the Republif of Cuba, H.E. Mr. Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez participated in the online Summit of the Non Aligned Movement on COVID-19 pandemic.
During the speech the Cuban leader highlighted the value of solidarity and cooperation among all NAM members as the way to overcome de disease. He indicated the willigness of Cuba to continue supporting Nam countries with medical brigades and to share its experiences in the fight against COVID-19 despite de tightening of the US blockade an Cuba..
