Embassy of Cuba in Ethiopia holds annual meeting of the Associations of Solidarity with Cuba
Addis Ababa, September 19, 2023. The Embassy of Cuba in Ethiopia hosted the annual meeting with the Associations of solidarity with Cuba. During the meeting, various topics were discussed, including the recently concluded G-77+China Summit and the participation of Ethiopia, the current situation in Cuba, the tightening of the blockade and the upcoming VII edition of the African Continental Meeting of Solidarity with Cuba.

Demeke Mekonnen Hassen, during the just-concluded G-77 plus China Summit.
Ethiopia, Cuba Agree to Set Up Ministerial Consultation Platform to Elevate Ties
Addis Ababa, September 18, 2023(ENA)- Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Affairs Minister, Demeke Mekonnen said that Ethiopia and Cuba have agreed to establish a ministerial consultation platform in order to elevate the special relationship the two countries have been enjoying.

Since its establishment, this group has played an important role as a representative of the South and defender of its interests in many negotiations. We are a group of countries characterized by diversity in terms of geography, cultures and levels of economic development. That diversity should not be weakness, but strength,” said former Cuban President Fidel Castro while attending the G-77 summit.
