- Communist Party of Cuba First Secretary and President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel, appeared on Cuban television, yesterday evening, and stated,  "Peace and citizen tranquility, respect and solidarity among compatriots and others in need around the world, saving Cuba to continue building, growing, dreaming and achieving the greatest possible prosperity. This is our message to our people."

Cuban Ambassador meets the Ethiopian State Minister of Foreign Affairs

Addis Ababa, July 15th 2021. This morning, the Cuban Ambassador Vilma Thomas Ramírez held a meeting with the Ethiopian State Minister of Foreign Affairs, Ambassador Redwan Husseind, at the headquarter of that institution.

The Cuban Ambassador acknowledged the Ethiopian support to Cuba at the United Nations General Assembly during the recent approval, by 184 vs 2, (United States and Israel) of the resolution calling for the lifting of  the US economic, commercial and financial blockade against Cuba.

Cuba congratulates South Sudan on the occasion of its National Day

Addis Ababa, July 9, 2021. South Sudan, the youngest nation in Africa, is celebrating the 10th anniversary of its independence today. On that occasion, Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez sent a message of congratulations to the President of the Republic of South Sudan, H. E. Mr. Salva Kiir Mayardit, ratifying the will to continue developing the historic relations of friendship that unite both peoples.
