Addis Ababa, October 20, 2021. At the conclusion of her diplomatic mission in Ethiopia, the Cuban Ambassador Vilma Thomas Ramírez was received by the Minister of Health of that country, Dra Lia Tadesse, at the headquarters of the Ministry.
Movement of Solidarity with Cuba in Ethiopia makes donation of medical supplies for the Cuban people
Addis Ababa, September 14, 2021. The Cuban Embassy in Ethiopia hosted the official delivery of the first part of a donation of medical supplies collected by the Solidarity Movement with Cuba in Ethiopia, to support the fight against the pandemic of COVID-19 in the Caribbean nation and counteract the effects of the intensification of the US blockade. The very emotive activity was attended by representatives of the various solidarity associations with Cuba in this country of the Horn of Africa and was chaired by Ambassador Vilma Thomas.
Cuban Ambassador offers an interview to the Ethiopian national television
Addis Ababa, September 10, 2021. Today, Cuban Ambassador Vilma Thomas Ramírez offered an interview to the Ethiopian national television (ETV), for the “Addis Dialogue” program hosted by Sintayehu Tamirat.
During the interview, Ambassador Vilma talked about the historical relations of friendship between Cuba and Ethiopia and the recent advances in cooperation.
Cuban Ambassador meets the Director General of America of the Ethiopian Foreign Ministry
Addis Ababa, September 9, 2021. Today, Cuban Ambassador Vilma Thomas Ramírez held a meeting with the Director General of America of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia, Ambassador Gebeyehu Ganga, at the headquarter of that institution.
Both parties highlighted the good historical bilateral relations between the two countries, which recently celebrated 46 years of its establishment. Likewise, during the meeting, they checked some issues of the bilateral agenda.

Addis Ababa, September 9, 2021. Today, Cuban Ambassador Vilma Thomas Ramírez held a meeting with the Director General of International Organizations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ethiopia, Mr Yoseph Kassaye, at the headquarter of that institution.
Both parties highlighted the good historical bilateral relations between the two countries. Likewise, they followed up on topics of mutual interest in multilateral forums.
