Extensive celebration in Finland of the day for Cuban culture

Very special moments lived the celebration of Cuban culture in Finland. The love for our Island was felt at full speed in Helsinki, and other cities in the country. Among the main activities, the exhibition "The Colors of Cuba" by the photographer Tomi Laurila stands out, and two concerts in Helsinki, one of them starring the "Cachimba Trio" and another in the city of Turku, by the renowned musician Peter Loman.

On November 3 and 4, the United Nations General Assembly will consider, for the thirtieth time, the agenda item entitled “Necessity of ending the economic, commercial and financial embargo imposed by the United States of America against Cuba”.

Cuba and Bolivia strengthen their relations from Helsinki

A pleasant and meaningful Latin American meeting was held by the ambassadors of Cuba, Beatriz Parra González, and Milton Soto, Ambassador of Bolivia in Finland, concurrent from Sweden. The Cuban diplomat thanked Bolivia for its solidarity after the impact of Hurricane "Ian".

Finnish deputies receive the Ambassador of Cuba

Ambassador Beatriz Parra González held an exchange this Friday with the Group of Friends of Cuba deputies in the Finnish parliament. The meeting was organized by Heli Järvinen, from the Green League and president of the group, and the deputy and vice-president of the same Jaana Pelkonen, from the National Coalition Party, and Päivi Räsänen, legislator for the Christian Democrats, also participated.

Cuban ambassador receives the deputy of the Alliance of the Left, Ana Kontula

Ambassador Beatriz Parra González, held a positive exchange with the Finnish deputy of the Left Alliance, Anna Kontula. In the dialogue, the diplomat referred to issues of the Cuban reality, highlighting the recently approved family code, the anti-Covid strategy, and the impact of the US blockade on the Cuban economy.
