During the exchange, the Cuban diplomat shared information on national news, in particular on the impact of the US blockade on daily life and the upcoming legislative referendum to decide on the new Family Code.

The "Iris" project directed by Professor Jyrki Luukkanen has deployed intense research for more than 4 years focused on the use of natural renewable resources. During the exchange, the academic presented multiple models found to generate renewable energy in Cuba, focused on the urgency of modifying its energy matrix.
