On the occasion of the holidays in Cuba, July 25, 26 and 27, the venue will remain closed. Ambassador of Cuba offers interview to Channel Europe for Cuba
In an interview with the "Europe for Cuba" channel, Ambassador Beatriz Parra González, representative of the Island in Finland, referred to the historical significance of July 26 for national history and the significance of the Revolution. During her presentation, the Cuban diplomat highlighted the national history that makes the people remain attached to the defense of sovereignty and non-interference from outside. Among other topics, he addressed Cuba's achievements in health, highlighting the obtaining of three anti-Covid vaccines; the results in education, sports, culture and other social spheres, which place the Island as an international reference.
Cuba thanks the Communist Party of Finland for the permanent denunciation of the blockade
During an exchange held this Thursday, the Ambassador of Cuba, Beatriz Parra González, gave Jiri Mantysalo, vice president of the Communist Party of Finland and representative of its youth league, an invitation to upcoming partisan events to be held in Cuba.The Cuban diplomat shared updated information on the impact of the blockade on daily life in Cuba and on multiple current issues on the Island. The Ambassador thanked the support of the Suomen Kommunistinen Puolue (SKP) and the Kommunistinuoret (the communist youth) against the cruel impact of the blockade on the Cuban people.
Cuban consulate in Helsinki offers assistance to nationals and their descendants
Luis Armando and his baby Noa arrived at the Cuban consulate in Helsinki on Monday in search of a passport for dad. During the assistance they received, Consul Adalberto Ávila explained to Luis Armando the process for granting the Cuban citizenship to the minor, and its facilities from the modification of the Immigration Law approved in 2013.
Director of Latin America at MFA receives the Cuban Ambassador
