"NewPacs" technology for purification of waters of interest to Cuba

To learn about the NewPacs technology, the Ambassador of Cuba, Beatriz Parra González, and Mr. Pekka Lönnqvist, president of the Board of the NEMO Company, spoke this Wednesday during a relaxed meeting at the Cuban headquarters. During his speech, Lönnqvist referred to the advantages of this technology, verified in countries such as China, Brazil, Canada and Finland itself, which allows the treatment and purification of drinking water for consumption and use in agriculture.

NGO "Familia" begins approach with Cuba in Finland

About the support of the "Familia" organization, the Ambassador of Cuba, Beatriz Parra González, met during her meeting this Tuesday with the Secretary of Communication of this NGO, Martha Cecilia Largaespada. She explained to the Ambassador the results in these 30 years of the NGO that supports intercultural families settled in Finland, in increasing numbers for years. Cuba thanked the approach to the organization, a space that without a doubt can represent a lot of support and attention to the families of Cuban residents who live in this Nordic nation, and in particular to their descendants.

Cuba appreciates the support of the SKP against the blockade

The General Secretary of the SKP, the communist party of Finland, Tiina Sandberg, was received this Monday by Ambassador Beatriz Parra González, at the Cuban diplomatic headquarters in this capital. In the exchange, the diplomat updated the party leader on the national events on the Island, in particular on the strategy to confront COVID19 with the result of 3 own vaccines, immunization with three doses of these of more than 85 percent of the population and daily numbers without deaths in just over 15 days.

This Friday the Ambassador of Cuba, Beatriz Parra González, held a courtesy meeting with H.E. Pablo Porro, Ambassador of Uruguay in Finland. In the exchange, the Cuban diplomat highlighted the consequences of the blockade on the Island, particularly during the pandemic, a moment in which she explained that it was intensified by the White House, while the Cuban Government and people were struggling to control the Covid-19 pandemic.

Cuba present in meeting with the Minister of Cooperation for Development and Foreign Trade of Finland

This Wednesday Cuba participated together with the Latin American countries in a meeting organized by the Finnish Ministry of Foreign Affairs with Ville Skinnari, Minister of Cooperation for Development and Foreign Trade. During the meeting, the Finnish authorities updated the ambassadors on their interests in relation to the Latin American markets and limited the interest granted to them by the Nordic country.
