Members of the State mission in Accra celebrate Cuba's National Culture Day.
With that joy of belonging to an island where culture is felt everywhere, members of the Cuban state mission gathered at the Embassy's headquarters in Accra to celebrate the National Culture Day.
With the notes of the Cuban national anthem, the exchange, moderated by Mireilis Toirac López, member of the Cuban Medical Brigade in Ghana, looked into the African roots present within the Cuban culture and José Marti’s vision of art. (Cubaminrex-Embacuba Ghana).
Cuban Ambassador to Ghana meets with members of the Medical Brigade in Ghana
Accra, 2 October- Members of the Cuban Medical Brigade in Ghana visited the Cuban Embassy in Accra, the Ghanaian capital, to meet with Ambassador Anette Chao Garcia and other members of the state mission in the African country.
The meeting was an opportunity to update those present on the latest developments in the largest of the Antilles and to talk about the effects that the blockade imposed on Cuba by the United States of America has caused to the island.

Twelve new members of the Cuban Medical Brigade (CMB) in Ghana arrived in the sub-Saharan country; they were received at the Kotoka International Airport in Accra by Ambassador Pedro Luis Despaigne González; Dr. Hafez Adam Taher, Head of External Health Cooperation of the Ministry of Health and by the Head of the Cuban Medical Mission in the country, Dr. Mercedes Suárez Orama.
